The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the Spring Semester 2016. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President's List for the spring semester 2016. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

More than 450 students earned President's List honors for the spring 2016 semester.

A total of 1,469 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

37 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta men's track and field team during 2015-16.

43 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta men's lacrosse team during the 2016 spring season.

SUNY New Paltz Men's Volleyball team took home the 2016 NCAA Championship.

For the second time in program history, the SUNY New Paltz men's volleyball team has won the United Volleyball Conference (UVC).

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that thirty-six students have earned a coveted spot on the 2016 Assumption College Men's Lacrosse Team, which will compete during the Greyhounds' spring season. "I'm very excited about our relatively young team," said head coach Keith Loftis. "They have been extremely coachable and hardworking all year. They come to practice every day with a blue collar mentality and work ethic. It has been a lot of fun coaching them and great to see their individual and collective growth and development. I'm very proud of how this team has come together on and off the field and I am excited about the opportunity to work with them this Spring."

Ithaca College swimmer Brenna Dowd was named Second-Team All-Conference for the 1,650 meter freestyle after placing second at the Empire 8 Championship in February 2016. Her 17:45.84 finish was the second fastest time in Ithaca College history. Dowd was also named the conference's Sportswoman of the Year.
